OSRAM extends its guarantee on systems, electronic control gears and fluorescent lamps.
The following guarantee terms and conditions apply.
Guarantee Level 2
Electronic control gears from OSRAM really come into theirs own when used in conjunction with OSRAM lamps. Lamp and ECG are perfectly matched to one another to achieve a long service life. Therefore, OSRAM offers an additional 2 years of guarantee on QUICKTRONIC ECGs of the QTi, QT-FH, QT-FQ, QTP, QT-M, HF...DIM, QT...DIM and QT-DALI series used in conjunction with OSRAM fluorescent lamps – that means a total 5 years of guarantee.
Similarly, 5 years of guarantee are also offered on POWERTRONIC PTU ECGs used in conjunction with OSRAM HQI or HCI high intensity discharge lamps.
And there are 5 years of guarantee offered on the ENDURA system (QUICKTRONIC ENDURA ECG in conjunction with ENDURA lamp).
For this extended 5-year Guarantee, the lighting system must be registered with OSRAM. You may follow this link to register. Registration must be made within 30 days of initial operation of the lighting system.
The 5-year Guarantee covers electronic control gear operated according to OSRAM specifications. In the event of any defects, OSRAM will, free of charge, repair or replace or provide a credit note for electronic control gear that has demonstrably failed during the respective guarantee period owing to a material or manufacturer's fault.
OSRAM reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of any guarantee claim. Therefore it is necessary to return the defective control gear to the registration address for analysis, including a copy of the registration form.
General conditions
Guarantee Level 2 requires registration of initial operation.
Statutory guarantee claims are not affected by this guarantee and shall apply independent from it and in parallel.
Guarantee claims will be handled by the local OSRAM office in the relevant country.
External applications are exempt from guarantee.
