OSRAM extends its guarantee for systems, electronic control gears and LED modules.
The following guarantee terms and conditions apply.
Guarantee Level 3a
LED systems from OSRAM consisting of LED modules and OSRAM OPTOTRONIC ECGs are perfectly matched to one another. Therefore, OSRAM offers a System Guarantee of 3 years on LED modules used in conjunction with OPTOTRONIC ECGs.
The System+ Guarantee (LED module + ECG) applies to OPTOTRONIC ECGs operated in conjunction with the following LED modules: LINEARlight-DRAGON, COINlight-OSTAR, OSTARhex, LINEARlight POWER Flex, DRAGONtape, DRAGONpuck, DRAGONeye, DRAGON-X, COINlight Colormix, LINEARlight Colormix Flex, LINEARlight Colormix, DRAGONchain Colormix, LINEARlight-DRAGON Colormix, LINEARlight, LINEARlight Flex, BACKlight, DRAGONchain, COINlight, EFFECTlight.
For this extended 3-year Guarantee, the lighting system must be registered with OSRAM. You may follow this link to register. Registration must be made within 30 days of initial operation of the lighting system.
The System+ Guarantee (LED module + ECG) applies only to lighting systems with an electrical connection power of no lower than 100 W.
The 3-year Guarantee covers LED modules and electronic control gears operated according to OSRAM specifications. In the event of any defects, OSRAM will, free of charge, repair or replace or provide a credit note for LED modules and OPTOTRONIC electronic control gears that have demonstrably failed during the respective guarantee period owing to a material or manufacturer's fault.
OSRAM reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of any guarantee claim. Therefore, it is necessary to return the defective LED module and OPTOTRONIC control gear to the registration address for analysis, including a copy of the registration form.
General conditions
Guarantee Level 3a requires registration of initial operation.
Statutory guarantee claims are not affected by this guarantee and shall apply independent from it and in parallel.
Guarantee claims will be handled by the local OSRAM office in the relevant country.
