OSRAM extends its guarantee for systems, electronic control gear and fluorescent lamps.
The following guarantee terms and conditions apply.
Guarantee Level 1
Electronic control gears from OSRAM are noted for their first-class engineering, state-of-the-art circuit design, high-quality components, and systematic quality assurance. Therefore, OSRAM is in the position to offer a full 3-year guarantee on its electronic control gears (QUICKTRONIC, DULUXTRONIC, HALOTRONIC, POWERTRONIC and OPTOTRONIC). The guarantee period starts when the respective lighting system is first put into operation.
The 3-year Guarantee covers electronic control gear operated according to OSRAM specifications. In the event of any defects, OSRAM will, free of charge, repair or replace or provide a credit note for electronic control gear that has demonstrably failed during the respective guarantee period owing to a material or manufacturer's fault.
OSRAM reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of any guarantee claim. Therefore it is necessary to return the defective control gear.
General conditions
Statutory guarantee claims are not affected by this guarantee and shall apply independent from it and in parallel.
Guarantee claims will be handled by the local OSRAM office in the relevant country.
External applications are exempt from guarantee.
